Do-Theater, (RUS) Eugeny Kozlov, art director, dancer; Irina Kozlova, dancer; Alexandre Bondarew. dancer. DO Theatre is a dance company, emerging frome a theatre scholl founded by Eugeny Kozlov in '87. Their work is based on the individual sensual experience, paratheatrical experiments, the culture of movement and dance breathing, influenced by 'The Theatre Of Cruelty' (Antonin Artaud, Gordon Craig). The ideas of taboo, the overcoming of human inertia and ritual traditions is what DO Theatre is attracted to. |
